Biography
Harmon Poole was born in Nova Scotia in 1898. He lived in Rhode Island and New Jersey prior to moving to Litchfield in 1948. He was a graduate of MIT and worked for several aviation plants during WWII. Following his retirement, he served as interim postmaster for Litchfield. He was an officer of the Mount Tom Association, a member of the Sanctum Club, and a member of the American Legion having served in WWI.
