Information given by Litchfield Selectmen - David Welch, Bezaleel Beebe, Briant Stoddard - concerning the estate of Colborn Barrell, late of Boston, who joined with the British. On the back are expenses for the forfeiture of the estate dated Dec. 1779. Jedediah Strong's signature is under the names of the Selectmen.

Writ, Rev. Solomon Palmer vs. Ethan Allen

This Writ (CA1890-68-0), dated May 8, 1765, between Rev. Solomon Palmer and Ethan Allen regarding a debt that Allen owed Palmer. The writ, written by clerk Isaac Baldwin, orders the Sheriff to go to Allen's Salisbury, Connecticut residence and seize money and property for the sum owed to Palmer or arrest Allen and bring him to the Litchfield Gaol. A note on the back indicates that the Sheriff was unable to find Allen.
William Perkins writ

Asa Bacon, Jr., Justice of the Peace of Litchfield County (Conn.) instructs the Sheriff of New Haven County to attach the goods of William Perkins of Waterbury and have him appear before Asa Bacon, Jr. to answer a claim by Hepseba Youngs of Litchfield. Perkins possesses some rye belonging to the plaintiff and refuses to deliver it to her.
