Landon family account book

Landon family account book (2013-142-0) includes the names of Daniel Landon, Nathan Landon, and Oliver Landon. Inside the front cover is inscribed "Daniel Landons book, Litchfield, 1775" followed by the signatures of Nathan and Oliver Landon. Accounts include farm products, coopering, mill building, blacksmithing and work at a saw mill and grist mill. Currently house in 3B Box 110.

Ledger (1971-54-0) containing entries from 1861 and 1862. Includes alphabetical index of names. Transactions do not record goods or services, but lists the dates on which they took place. A loose store inventory listing a variety of general goods is inserted in the back. The creator is unknown. The item is housed in 3B Box 1.

Inscribed on the inside front cover " T. Loveland Ledger A", this account book (1971-49-0) probably belonged to Theron J. Loveland, who lived in the Bantam section of Litchfield. Work done by Loveland included house painting, paper hanging, and graining. Currently housed in 3B Box 110.
Moses Lyman papers

Papers relating to Moses Lyman (1768-1844) of Goshen, Conn., consisting of a document related to the Litchfield and Canaan turnpike road, a land survey of Ivy Mountain, and an agreement with Benjamin Palmer to dismantle and rebuild his house. The Palmer agreement is four pages and quite detailed, specifying building materials and techniques, costs, and a schedule for completion.
