The Mary B. Brewster papers (1954-47-0, .42 linear feet) consist of materials related to Brewster's book, St. Michael's Parish, Litchfield, Connecticut, 1745-1954: A Biography of a Parish and of Many Who Have Served It, published in 1954. The papers include manuscripts, galleys, a memorandum, and a cover illustration by William Edwards.

Scope and Contents A small notebook of handwritten sermons on The Commandments attributed to Rev. Davies and a published booklet "Biographical sketch of the Rev. Thomas Davies, A.M.: missionary of the Society for Propagating the Gospel in Foreign Parts, in several of the town of Litchfield County, Conn., from the year 1766" by a minister of the county. An account Book (1907-18-0) was partially used by Bishop Silvanus to record the accounts of the Second Episcopal Society. The volume also contains the title, "John Kilborn’s Day Book.” The Episcopal Society accounts recorded include expenses such as work on the steeple. John Kilborn's day book records matters such as silk and tobacco. The item is currently housed in 3B Box 110.
