This sub-series consists of a variety of material related to schools. There are some records from the 1870s which may pertain to the school Esther Thompson ran with her sister. The majority of this sub-series consists of material related to Litchfield High School, in particular, a number of competition essays authored by a “C. O. D.”. It is unclear who “C. O. D.” is, though she may be Christina, a relation to Esther H. Thompson.
