Scope and Contents
Two framed liquor licenses, 2013-104-0, one for James Campbell for the Union State Hotel from 1905-06; and another for Eugene L. Phelps, for the Phelp's Tavern in 1911-12. The licenses are for the same business, but under different names. The license for Campbell was in a fire and has burn damage, and is brittle and darkened. The United States Hotel, known earlier as Phelps Inn and after 1910 as Phelps Tavern. Both items are framed and in Art Storage. Please allow extra time for retrieval.
