Biographical / Historical

Milburn Milton Chapman (1891-1973) was born in Jewett City, CT. By 1900, his family moved to Providence, RI. At the time he filled out his WWI draft registration card, he was living in Los Angeles, CA. He enlisted in the U.S. Army on 17 June 1918, served at the Vancouver Barracks in Washington, and was discharged on 3 March 1919. He then returned to Providence, where he worked as a bookkeeper and real estate agent.
