Biographical or Historical Information
Phineas Bradley was born in Litchfield, Connecticut in 1769. He was a physician who practiced in Middletown before opening a drug store in Litchfield. He later moved to Wilkesbarre, Pennsylvania and then to Washington, D.C. where he was employed as the Second Assistant Post Master General, serving under his older brother Abraham. He died in 1845.
