Scope and Contents The Esther H. Thompson notebook (2011-42-0) contains many hand copied poems, as well as verses clipped from newspapers. It was created between the years 1875 and 1895 by Esther H. Thompson of Litchfield, Connecticut. Most of the poems are not original works, but copies of poems such as "At Last" by John Greenleaf Whittier, "Catching the Colt" by Marian Douglass, and "The Beautiful Snow" by Joseph Warren Watson.
