Scope and Contents
Lengthy letter regarding various political and personal controversies. Accuses Lyman of slander, dishonesty and destroying reputations. Reproaches Lyman for not being a Christian "in deed and truth." Later published in a pamphlet, [i]Church and State: A Political Union Formed by the Enemies of Both In Correspondences Between the Rev. Stanley Griswold, and the Rev. Dan Huntington, and between Col. Ephraim Kirby, and the Rev. Joseph Lyman[/i], 1802. Letter is in fragile condition, use transcription.
