Scope and Contents
Huntington writes of activities of the State Legislature in New Haven. Gives report of the failure of the Federalists to get a single measure passed and details politicking for upcoming elections and appointments. Discusses pending bills for the incorporation of churches, town tax collection; exemption of private property of stockholders when corporations fail; school fund; lotteries; liquor licenses and exempting wives from arrest or imprisonment on account of the debts of their husbands.
