Scope and Contents
Two account slips for Hannah Grant from Theron Beach of Goshen. Items purchased include various food and sewing materials. On the reverse of the account dated August 6 1829, there is an unsigned note addressed "Dear Brother." The note, probably written by John Mason Grant, includes details of books he is reading, subjects he and David [McNeil Grant] are studying in school, and his activities of the day.
