Scope and Contents
Two letters, one from John Paine Cushman to Benjamin Tallmadge, and one from Tallmadge to Cushman. Cushman's letter primarily discusses political matters. Tallmadge's first letter, dated 21 Mar, refers to a business matter involving Mr. Griswold, Mr. Hart and Mr. Slosson. He also makes note of the religious revival at work in Hartford and Farmington. The second page contains a letter to Mr. Dutcher Slosson of Troy regarding payment of a note.
