Scope and Contents
Two letters, from Benjamin Tallmadge to John Paine Cushman. In the first letters, he discusses politics, including his prediction of James Monroe for President; as well as financial matters. He also writes about a fire which consumed the home of Samuel Plumb.
In the second letter, Tallmadge reports on the conclusion of his suit against Samuel Brown and advises Cushman on building rather than renting his home.
