Scope and Contents
Part of a large estate owned in 1883 by Joseph Goddard, known as Fernwood Farm when it was owned by F. Norton Goddard. Later owners included Marion C.E. Duscomb; Charles Frederick Brusie; and Earle Sarcka. Brusie ran the Litchfield School for Boys in 1928, which was followed by Sarcka School. Other names associated with the house were Watkinson Manor and Stevelyn House before it became RESCUE (Regional Educational Services Concept Through Unified Effort) and now Education Connection. Early photographs and one of Sarcka School.
