Caroline hopes that her friend Kate will visit, writes about going to church, social calls, and letters received from mutual friends, some with connections to Washington, Conn. Caroline's surname - Goodwin - was found in "Circular of the Judea Female Seminary, for the adademic year ending March 21, 1849."
